Program Description
SD General Design & Construction sends appointment confirmations and reminders for scheduled consultations and site visits, plus occasional updates about a project you have asked us about. This is a conversational, customer-service program — we do not send marketing blasts or promotional campaigns.
Typical messages include a confirmation when your free consultation is booked, a reminder the day before a scheduled site visit, and a note if our crew's arrival window changes. You can always reply to us — a real person at SD General reads and answers.
How to Opt In
There are two ways to join, and both require you to act first. We never add a number on our own, and we never buy or import phone lists.
- 1On our contact formCheck the SMS consent box on the contact form when you submit an inquiry. The box is unchecked by default and is optional — we'll still take your inquiry if you leave it unchecked.
- 2Verbally, by phoneTell us during a call that it's okay to text you at your number. We note the date and time of that consent in your record.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase and is not required to get an estimate or hire us.
How to Opt Out — Text STOP
Reply STOP to any message from us and we will stop texting that number. You'll get one final message confirming you've been unsubscribed, and nothing after that.
STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, and QUIT all work. If you want back in later, just check the consent box again or tell us on the phone.
How to Get Help — Text HELP
Reply HELP to any message and we'll text back our company name, this program's purpose, and our phone number.

Message Frequency and Cost
- Message frequency varies.
- Messages are tied to your appointments and your project, so the number depends on what's happening. Most people get a handful of messages around a scheduled visit and none in between.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- SD General does not charge you for text messages. Your mobile carrier may charge you for messages and data under your own plan — check with your carrier if you're unsure.
Supported Carriers and Delivery
Our messages are supported on major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and many regional and prepaid carriers. Carrier support can change without notice, and some carriers may not be supported.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Because delivery isn't guaranteed, never rely on a text message alone for anything time-critical — call us at (831) 261-7329 if you haven't heard from us.
Privacy
Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
